Walmart, CVS & Heb Deals

I ran into Super Walmart to use some of my free coupons that were expiring at the end of June, and this is what i got for $10.82 (total before coupons over $45)! My favorite deals were the free land 'o frost lunch meat coupon here, and the blue bunny ice cream that i got for $1.50 each with this coupon. at cvs i got 12 soy joy bars that i paid .13 cents out of pocket for and increased my extra bucks by $5. Also, i went into Heb to get something i had a free coupon for and got another pound of ground beef for free with the freshness guarantee. if you find anything in the store that is past the expiration date, you can take it and another comparable item to the counter and get the fresh item for free. I haven't bought hamburger meat in weeks b/c i usually end up picking up a free package every time i go to the grocery store. My mother in law was able to get a free box of nutrition bars last week with the freshness guarantee too. Anyway, if you have an Heb grocery store it's worth the time to check the dates on the item's you are buying. :)

You're amazing!!! I'm inspired to try CVS now. We have one nearby but I've never shopped there yet.

thanks, "couponing" is so much fun! i've only been shopping at cvs for about 9 months, but it has been very addicting. the good thing about cvs is that your extra care bucks don't expire for a month, so if you don't get in there every weeks to get the deals it's ok. :)
